Year/crate engine?

Year/crate engine?
Hello - I am new to this forum albeit I am not new to car as a general working project I am new to vettes. I am looking at different C4s to purchace at this time. I want to put a more powerful engine in the car which crate engine(s) do you recomend? Why? Also which year of the c4 would you recomend (remember that I wil be replacing the engine so - the less the miles does not matter to me)? Why?
Also I am looking at a fuel injected engine. So if I were to buy an engine say one of the zz4s that were carbed and have it PFIed - would that be cheaper? Any other suggestions?

Welcome to the forum. I say just get a 502 Ramjet. That would be all the power you would need. It comes stock with 502HP. Also, get a vette that is a stick. That way you get the Dana 44 setup already on the car. :thumbs:
