What'd you pull your heads off of? I'm trying to get a set from my brother, that came off his '98 chevy pickup, but he's resisting.

How do they flow compared to the iron heads, or did you have em worked over?

I've not used them in past projects, but going from GM cast heads to World Products heads required me to go to a slightly longer push rod with the cam I was running.

Are you giving us a glimpse into your potential problem?

mine came off a '98 truck, they are pocket ported and polished up a bit, they flow great stock. the porting helps a lot too.
gm's fastburn heads are the aluminum version.

I'm running them on my 85 I did before and after dyno runs with the only changes being heads and the vortec intake I was not happy with the HP gains all the magazines were saying 30+HP gains I only saw about 12 HP. But the torque went up close to 50 Ft-lbs that made a big diffrence in the car. I used the stock size push rods.
