Now that the car is finally done (just a new PROM burn left), I have some time to start posting again...
While I had the engine/tranny/driveline out during the top end build, I gave Bill a call and ordered the drive shaft safety loop and the C4 beam plates. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about the beam plates, but after the postitive feedback on the forum, I thought "what the heck, I'll give 'em a try".
Simply said... These things work! Now, when I nail it, the rear end no longer wants to kick out to the right. This thing lights up the tires in a straight line!
The interesting part, a local road that I used quite a bit, when I make a left, it becomes an off camber corner and the road crown slopes quite a bit to the right... since the addition of beam plates, it won't even kick much there!
Being on the otherside of the world with prohibitive shipping costs I made my own.
Totally agree with above and if you have to do any rearend / trans removal work you will appreciate the time saving getting the top nuts off and on. Your fingers will thank you.

Re: C4 Beam Plate Feedback (cprgmr)
Same here... I installed mine while I was changing the exhaust... I was very happy with the performance afterward...
The funny thing is I had totally forgotten about the beam plates until I did my first WOT run with the new exhaust... The first thing I thought is hey, "something's wrong it didn't kick the rear end out on the 1-2 shift..." That's when I remembered about the beam plates and thought, "hey these things really work..."
The only thing that sucked was removing the stock nuts... Trying to hold a wrench above while turning the bolts below sure is a chore...

I can't wait to see if they help at the track. :D
One of these days, I'm gonna add the beam plates to my Sig.... as about nthe only damn thing I don't have that I should, and want. I think the rest speaks for itself. If you can run 11's or low 12's you ain't stock (or really close to it) in C4
At the point when they came up on the GP I was either too far along in the project (it would be a PITA to pull the duals) or I was tapped :nonod: At any rate it still seemed like a lotta bank for what it is. But, Damn sure, people swear by em' :banghead:

:iagree: With these things on, I don't even think about car going anywhere but straight when speed shifting.
they do work! simply incredible. I was having fun painting my friends street with super long burnouts.. i did about a 1/2 mile burnout ending in 4th and blowing the tires up... but the car stays nice and straight throughout the gear changes. oh and someone called the fire department because of all the smoke... poor eagle gscs :lolg:
