Default """58 mm throttle""" is this good?

Not familiar with this part, but would it benefit me or be too much? I have headers, no cat, hypertech chip thermo master, airpump pulley replacement, ported manifold, k&n, forced air--through front plate, air foil, helix spacer plate, thanks !!

Well as you might know already if you have been reading the forum much, the air foil and that helix spacer plate really are just gimiks, don't do much. As far as a 58mm throttle body that would be MASSIVE overkill. Even a 52mm might lower your performance more then help.
Only reason I could see a 52mm upgrade would be if you had a fully ported lower manifold, large runners, or just the whole SuperRam setup where you could actually rev up to 6K, otherwise its probably just going to be a waste of your 2-3 hundred bucks.
You can take a look as the stuff on my old 85, never needed anythign bigger then 48mm, pulled just fine :)

That would be way too much for a modified 350cid.

A 52mm TB (AS&M) would work fine but likely won't improve HP without intake, cam & heads.

If the price is right, it would be a good deal. You may want to spend the money on other things first. I worked a trade for mine for $100. I have changed everything on mine from air filter to exhaust tip. Everything ported polished, siamesed, and gutted. If I hadn't already done all the other work, I probably wouldn't even have blown the $100.

ok, I won't....just wasn't sure what the deal was with upgrading the size,,,,what do you think is the next step, I was told--cam, but I would have to have someone remove the engine for a bundle of money then, wouldn't I ?

On an 85, you would be better off saving for new heads AND cam.

Yes it costs alot of money, but real HP is not cheap.
