My brakes(91) lost all pedal the other day I mean all not spongy but just straight to he floor. I wasn't sure what happened but i had unhooked the brake booster line at the plenum a few weeks ago when i replaced the intake gaskets. So to rule out air just in case i bled the brakes today and the back ones looked fine but the fronts.... nothing , i mean nothing ever came out. does that idicate a bad master cylinder and not a bad booster or not necessarily??? also how hard is it to rebuild a master cylinder or should i just get a new one? thanks for the help!!!!

Master Cylinder, get a new one.
:iagree: Yep, a failed booster wouldn't cause you to lose your pedal, it would just greatly increase effort. And make sure it IS a new one. Don't mess around with rebuilt master cylinders.
Either the master cylinder is done for, you blew a brake line, or the hose ruptured. Either of these are pretty common. If you notice no fluid leaking, change the master cylinder with a new one, not a reman.
If your booster would've went bad, it would've taken you two feet on the brake pedal as hard as you can to get it to stop.
