When does air intake filter become inadequate on C4?????
I am running the SLP triple snorkle.
The dyno on the car resulted in just a little lower A/F than expected. This means a little too much fuel or not quite enough air.
I think the program just needs to be tweaked a little. ....I know a lot of people with strokers need a lot more air than my car so maybe I am perfectly OK.
But what air intake system would be better??? Seems all the posts I remember conclude there is no real difference between various air intake systems.
Re: When does air intake filter become inadequate on C4????? (LT4BUD)
Waht I see prettyn consistantly is that the MAF is the real choke point. A lot of people also say that it's all pissing in the wind to do much with the filter from stock.
Personally, when the right deal comes along, I'm going with the A/O through the front plate. I'd like the cooler air out of the engine compartment, and at higher speeds I believe it will give some additional "pressure" forcing air into the system, and I think I'm moving fast enough in the 1/4 to see some possible gain. :seeya
