Default L98 in a 77 nova?
does anyone know if an 87 L98 block will bolt up to a 77 nova with a 3 speed auto tranny?

Yes,
The block it is a std. SBC. Are you going to use the FI? The wiring for the FI and all the sensors would be the real trick.

the 3-speed auto you're talking about is a TH350 right? Yes, I'd imagine it would, since the L98 is just a plain ole' chebby small block. :yesnod:

probably going to get a zz4 to replace my l98, rebuild the l98, and use the carb intake manifold from the zz4 on the l98.

I hope you don't plan on putting the TPI on the ZZ4? If so, expect to loose power...

Oh, and the LT1/4 will bolt up, too... they too are chevy small blocks...
