Diagnostic Codes 1994 LT1
I can read HVAC system diagnostic codes from my climate control unit on my 1994 by pressing and holding both fan arrows for about 5 seconds to enter diagnostic mode. Once -00 appears I can use the arrows to select a parameter number and then press the fan button to get the "value"
I found a list of diagnostic codes awhile ago on the Idaho Corvette Page, but my unit has more parameter #s than is listed on the Idaho Page. Also, some "values" I get are different from what is shown on the Idaho Page.
Does anyone know where I can find more information about how to use this diagnostic feature or a more detailed list than the one on the Idaho Page?
I'm in BC, Canada and am going to have to get hold of a shop manual. I imported the car from Arizona last fall.
Any advice or information is appreciated. Thanks : :confused:

Dave, we need a scan tool to read the codes from our 94 OBD-I units as some changes were introduced in 94. The link Rick sent has more details.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- :party: just pulled my code without the scan tool......I took a big safety pin and pliers cut off the head and it look like a "U" shape plugged one end in the number 4 pin on my pcm connector rite under dash and the over end in number 12 .....turn ignition on start ...don't start car code came up....
