Default 85 TPIS Header fitment question

Has anyone here installed these headers on a set of the stock heads? Are there any problems? What about installing on a set of steel vortec heads? If I remember properly both of these head sets have straight angle plugs.

How about height? I am planning to lower my vette and heard that the TPIS headers are a low hanging header and the Hooker headers are actually better. I think I am going to start a new thread about this debate.

Thanks
Richard

i put TPiS long tube headers on my car. drop the starter and you have to pull the oil dip stick tube and you can fit them in from the bottom no problem. you have to finese the passenger side alittle. i did it on a lift so it was alot easier.

Try to find a set of heads with angled plugs or get short spark plugs; I've heard that the boots will be VERY close otherwise.
