EGR Temperature Switch location???
Can anyone tell me where the EGR Temperature Switch is located on my '85 vette coupe?
I purchased a new one, thinking that if I saw what it looked like, I could find the old one. I don't have a clue. The switch screws into the engine. and has a wire plug at the end. My repair manual talks about the switch, but not about where it is at. I appreciate any help y'all can come up with.

Hmm well on the 86+ cars it screws into the top of the EGR tube which runs over the passenger valve cover ... but I don't think the 85s have an EGR tube.
Maybe someone with an '85 will chime in.

Check your EGR Valve under the plenum. You may be suprised at what you find!
