Default Got the Vette back today!

Well...the new engine runs great. The LT4 Hot Cam and Hooker shorty headers make it sound just how I wanted. I can tell the car has a lot of power waiting to be unleashed but I will give it awhile before uncaging it. The new throttle cable makes the pedal feel better too. Maybe it just "feels" that way cause I've been driving a Hyundai Sante Fe for three weeks though. When sitting at a stoplight, the idle is a little rough due to the new cam. It reminds me of my 1969 Camaro a use to have which had a decently built 327. It actually sounds like a muscle car now. My neighbor came outside to see what was passing by when he heard it and I saw a big smile on his face when he saw it was me. It is running with the Hypertech program right now...I'm hoping to get my program worked out good from PCMforLess. Should be a good setup then. I thought I would get an engine light with the cam but I didn't. :D I still haven't put on the Magnaflows yet...next week sometime...I guess I'll get some more mean sounds then!

Have you considered having Jesse do your chip?? He comes very highly recommended around here.

Congrats on getting the car back - Can't wait to hear how she is once you get to test your new power

:skep: This is almost creepy... I just got my car back today too. LT4 Hot Cam. Exhaust. Hypertech programming but afraid to run hard before getting dyno tuning. Same rougher idle but nice musclecar sound. And nice to feel it again after 3 weeks with the SUV.

This is like the "bizarro world" episode of Seinfeld... Just hope you're enjoying your car as much as I'm enjoying mine!

Yes he does but he isn't doing OBDII stuff...yet. I'm waiting for the day when he does...
