Finally got her started and running reasonably well. Then went to put in reverse and could not. It scratches real bad. It goes in with the motor off but not with it running. I had the 4 speed professionally rebuilt and the OD is rebuilt too. Could it be the clutch hydraulics? TIA
I assembled them together. Its something that since 1993 when I bought the car, that I've done a few times. I remember a reverse idler gear, fork, needle bearing set that goes on the OD shaft. How can you screw it up?

Theres a couple of those needle bearing things and a spacer that a lot of people accidently drop into the 4-speed case. Oops! Glad to hear the bleeding worked.
