Okay, since I'm having troubles with California emissions on my 90, what about pulling the L98 and putting in a complete LS1? My concern of course is computer and sensor based. I'm searching for internet articles now, but thought I would look for real life experience first. Thanks!
Don't walk away from this idea, Run! If you had the time, money, and skills it is certainly achievable, but far from worth it. For the amount of money you would have to spend swapping to an LSx, you would certainly be able to pass emissions, have enough left over to mod the hell out of your L98, and pass emissions again.
Thank you for the links, there is good information there and you don't know the answer unless you ask the question. I still couldn't get anything out of the search function, but never can seem to extract much from there anyway. It's not the system, it's the monkey behind the computer, me.
Anyway, gotta look at the options and scratch them off one at a time leaving no stone unturned. This one is scratched, on to the next one.
