I just finished installing my throttle body by-pass, Instead of going on e-bay and spending $20 I went to Lowes and got a brass 5/8" hose connector and it even came with the clamps and I bought a 10" piece of 5/8" hose to move the connection back out of the TPS wires.
Haven't driven anywhere yet to see any difference but we'll see...
Let me know what you think... :grouphug:
Yep. I just bought a longer hose for about $3.00, and reused the existing clamps. Those $20 bypass kits are a joke IMHO. I did not really feel a noticeable difference, but it sure makes Throttle Body removal a snap. No coolant to worry about. Just unplug the TPS and IAC, remove the 4 bolts, and it's off nice and clean.
