Ignition Module Wiring Colors???
96 LT4--trying to check the current at the ignition module using Haynes and Chilton as a guide, I guess I've discovered the need for shop manuals. Or far more likely, I don't know what I'm looking at.
The two manuals differ in the colors of the wires I should be checking at the module. Chilton says terminal A is pink/black, B is white, C is black/white and D is dark green. Haynes has D as white/black. But the car has green, black/white, yellow and orange. The only ground I have is blk/wht, just like Chilton's says, so if it's C, shouldn't it be on the end terminal? It's not.
If I'm looking into the plug with the clip on top, for example, can anybody tell me what the terminals are left to right, or right to left? I found current on the green wire with the key on, and the blk/wht is a good ground with a light probe.
