super chargers which one?
Do a search, there are pros and cons to each system but a lot of knowledge on this board.
Both Chris T. and TJ has helped me out tremendously.

BTW: the parts like the FMU and Fuel pump will need to be replaced immediately....Not to mention you'll need an MSD or accell ignition setup to retard the timing especially on an LT4. If you have an LT4 your injectors are o.k. at 28lbs I believe..... Oh and don't forget the belt slip...
....You will make about 75 less HP than ATI claims because of belt slip, and it will be when you need it most--When you downshift!!!! That's where the belt slip sucks!
Look, I love my blower and I'm not partial to one over the other. ATI and Vortech head units are both great. I'm dissing the "kits" here not the manufacturers. My eventual plans for my car are to make sick HP and I'm grateful for the experience I've gained by doing the sc install.
But take my unbiased opinion to heart. You only have 2 options.
1.) Save your money and get your motor rebuilt to make the HP you want with an eventual addition of a supercharger
2.) Go ahead and install that ATI kit on your car thinking it will only cost you XXX$ when really it will cost you XXXXX$ and still be unhappy with the performance.
Don't say I didn't warn you.

if you are looking for show then i would run an ATI and when you plan on making power build the motor and as VVV90 says then upgrade everything else like fuel pump etc.
The price is worth it and the power ATI blower makes is great!
I have learned quite a bit from reading these threads and asking similiar questions. I got a killer deal on my supercharger.
Even when I found out that I was better off upgrading majority of the supporting parts, I will still be ahead of the game.
The way I see it, there is no doubt that you should build the engine to suit the SC and I am planning on it. This one step just came a bit early.
However, I am glad I bought the kit because I was hesitatant on building a system, especially since I am new to this area. Now since I have gone through the process, I can see why it's better to build your own.
Here is a parts list of the parts that I have upgraded or plan to upgrade to:
1. Walbro Fuel Pump (Eliminated T-Rex),
2. Kenne Bell Boosta Pump (Additional fuel/Pressure),
3. 42lb Lucas/Delphi matched Injectors (Eliminate FMU),
4. ATI Intercooler (Run Cooler - Hope to adjust Timing more),
5. Accell 58mm Throttle Body (More Air - Not sure at this time if I need it-You will need to open your intake more, stock is 52mm),
6. Acell AFPR (Optional for fine tuning),
7. MSD 6 BTM (Eliminated Crane - Always owned MSD and like the product,
8. 8 rib or cog conversion (Eliminate/Reduce Slippage) - Once the Engine get's torn down.
9. PCM Programming (A Must).
Hope this helps,
Glenn

And this is the entire contents of these so-called "kits"
And this is why the kits are pointless. Piecing everything together is the best way.
You actually save money too because they charge a rediculous amount of money for the inferior components that come in the kit.
For instance, I paid $4300. The only thing I'm keeping is the head unit tubing and intercooler.
