Carbytes V2.0 for '90 (Any defination files)??? [A115 data stream]

Carbytes V2.0 for '90 (Any defination files)??? [A115 data stream]
Ancient History = I've been unable to get the Moates software to work on my laptop (Pentium 4 running XP).
Thought I'd punt and try CarBytes v2.0 out of curosity - just to see if I can get my car to work with the laptop and cable combination. I choose carbytes because:
1) It's free
2) It is a windows based program vs. other (such as ALDLMON) that are Dos Based
Rather than reinvent the wheel and create a ALD defination file, was wondering if anyone already had one based upon the A115 data stream for a 1990 L98 vin 8. A quick look at the supplied sample file tells me I may be over my head...
I was going to try the updated version - marketed as EFLive v4 - the evaluation copy is good for a few months - but then I'd have to purchase a license for $$$. (This comes with a user supplied defininition file for my vehicle). Thought I'd try the earlier, free version first and see if it fits my downscale needs...
