Also how much money do you want to spend and i agree with VVV90 if you are stock you dont need much but if you are race then you will need more! i Personally like the D-1 or D1sc
i want a 10,11 or 12 sec street car, ha ima do stealth ram, wanna SC, new cam, 8.5 Cr, work the heads a lil, deck them, over bore .030, new rods, crank, pistons, just basically a complete rebuild, but with eprformance parts, tht are streetable.
im notrunnin a blown 396, ur talkin bout a carbed blower right? nah i dont wanna do tht, im doin a 350 bored .030 and pro chargin it
No, that's not what he's saying. A procharger is still considered a "blower". All he's saying is if you build it right, 350, 396, 532, 665, it doesn't matter, the D1 is the better choice. At a lower compression a 600B is a waste.

If I could do it all over again I would change out my blower and intercooler setup to an F-1 and a custom intercooler setup involving alk/water or a huge air/air with C02 spraying on it!
I saw an impalla with the biggest ati blower I think F-4 and I kid you not this thing sounded like a dam jet and when it launched it ran its 60foot and shut it down and it still ran an 11second quarter mile!
The guys I guess where trying to get there nhra license or something crazy like that?
Dude it was sick! launched so damn hard that his own crew had the look in there facs like "WHAT THE" and shut it down right away. When i walked away i was wet!
But i did talk to the guy they had a 590something CI block with 11:1 compresh! said making 20 psi of boost!
Self contained means that the oil is stored in the blower unit.
If it's not self contained, that means you tap the oil pan and run lines to the blower to lubricate it....There's pro's and cons to both. Personally I think that running a non-self contained unit is good for the street because it should theoretically run cooler.
