It leaks fora short time after it has been driven, but it's a pretty good sized leak while it's going. After I park the car I will have a puddle about 1 sq foot when it's done leaking.
The leak is coming from the right front of the car, from under the right edge of the radiator.
Any ideas what I'm looking at and how much it will cost to repair (I will be taking to a shop, not doing it myself)
It might be the hose. Sorry I don't know how they would charge. I had overheat my vette one time and it cracked my radiator. I had to replace it myself. Wasn't too hard, even though it was my first time. What is your temp running at?
Aradiator shop will do a visual inspection or a pressure test on the system to see where the leak is coming from. If it's a lower hose, they are easy to replace. The petcock is a plastic screw-in plug that seals with a rubber o-ring so it could be that may have failed.
The plastic end tank could be leaking or damages. Radiator replacement is not a real big job, but just takes time.
A radiator replacement can be pricey(into the hundreds of dollars at a shop). A hose done at a shop can be close to a hundred. If you haven't had the coolant replaced for a while, get a complete flush with new green coolant and distilled water. The main radiator hoses should be replaced if your car has a fair amount of miles on it. The metal "tee" on the top hose should be inspected for any corrosiion.
