Transmission problems
THE OTHER DAY I HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY X-MISSION...IT REFUSED TO SHIFT. I STILL HAD 1ST AND 2ND. BUT 3RD GEAR IS NO MORE. I MIGHT MENTION THAT I HADNT PUT FLUID IN IT IN ALMOST A YEAR
NOW IT WONT GO FASTER THAN 38 MPH. DID I BURN SOMETHING UP?

I assume this is a C4??? Any particular year??? What about 4th, 5th, and 6th gears? Or is this a 4+3? Or is this an automatic? Turn the radio down...So you don't have to YELL!

That's more like it.
Just the transmission. Soften up the butter, because that trans is toast. It must have been all that Crossfire torque.

Im sorry...my mistake. Its a C4 automatic...1986 trans on an 84 engine
