Smoke from engine 91 vette
After driving up steep steep hills in Hong Kong, my 91 vette, I will turn the fan down on my a/c and all of a sudden smoke shoots out from the engine, its more of a misty white smoke than a thick fire smoke. I think it may be related to the a/c not sure if its anything else, happened twice before, whilst running the aircon
Thanks

Most likely you are blowing oil or ATF onto the exhaust system; an inspection of the front Y or cats could give you a clue. Since it occurs mostly when going up a grade with A/C on I suspect an oil leak. Under these conditions you have increased cylinder pressure (check your instentaneous mileage) which would pressurize the oiling system too.
Common source of oil leaks can be:
-oil pan seal
-oil pressure sender or switch on top rear of engine
-oil temp sender under engine near oil filter
-front or rear intake base lands
-valve cover gaskets
-rear main seal
ATF leaks could occur from:
-front pump seal
-rear shaft seal
-oil pan gasket
