SEAFOAM
Seafoam motor treatment comes highly recommended (by a non-vette acquaintance) as both a gas and oil additive. [more at seafoamsales.com]
For the unfamiliar, it supposedly does wonderful stuff (e.g., cleans injectors, carb, lifters, et al) when added to gas and/or crankcase.
Does anyone have any experience-based knowledge, comments or info pro or con on using this stuff ? (I DO know their SeaFoam "DeepCreep" is Super as a penetrating oil!)
next is ...
TILT-WHEEL My steering wheel/column has some `play' when locked into some positions and, when in those same positions, the `swizzle-stick' is unreliable, loose and goofy. (i.e., won't activate the high-beam switch, intermittently activates turn-signals.. or not)
Ok.. I know the easy answer. Put the tilt-wheel in the positions where it's solid and leave it there. Two problems with that .. uncomfortable to drive AND it won't pass a PA State Inspection that way. [IF they notice it]
Last year, my local garage `vette-guy' tore the column apart and temporarily "fixed" it by epoxy-ing a pin that was worn or loose (?) in the column.
Today, I asked the `vette-wise' manager at the local dealer and she says it's a "No-Parts" fix, .. that it's just a nut somewhere at the base of the column that comes loose and needs tightening, "... unless it's too worn." [..Ominous sound to that]
So, the basic question .. anyone have any knowledge of or experience with a similar problem ?
As usual, any and all input is appreciated.

As for the tilt, I cannot help you.
Thanks!
