Will these headers fit?
Got a question for anybody that has had experience with this. Will the Hooker super comp headers (2151's) fit Darts angle plug cylinder heads. They are the Pro-1 aluminum heads. Need to know asap so I can order them soon as posible. I cant wait to get my car back on the road. Thanks in advance.

If you don't know the plug angle, check with Dart. The Hooker headers are footnoted to NOT fit AFR angle plug heads. Bear in mind, that AFR has made heads with two different plug angles. The standard, "L98" angle, and AFR's own, proprietary angle. The 2151s fit the "L98" angle but not the "AFR angle". Dart should be able to tell you about the angle(s) they have made. Hooker may know, also.

From what I'm hearing, the Dart Pro wont fit with the L98 angle Hookers, at least not very well. Theyre not the same angle.
Though, I guess the straight plug Darts and straight plug Hookers will.
I'm looking into the Dart Pro 200cc at the moment too.

The 2151 Hookers work fine with the Dart Pro 1s. My 89 has been running them for almost 2 years without a problem. A couple of the plugs are fun to change, but there is no other problem. In fact, I'm still running the same header gaskets that came with the Hookers.
I didn't get the Hookers coated, so they are crap now. Get em coated.

Yep, got the Dart Pro 1 angle plug heads, 220+, 2.08I 1.60E, +.100. 1.55 dual big block valve springs 135#closed - 380#open, titanium retainers 10d locks, 1.6 CC Pro Magnums. 311cfm @ .600 and 234cfm@ .600. Great heads, I'm running a welded Holley Stealth Ram, 36# inj, 58mm TB. Cam 236-242 @ .050, .576-.596 custom CCams roller. 808 Holden SD program in the 165 ECM.

Awsome. Thank for reply. Looks like ill be spending some money today. Hopefolly the heads will arive before the weekend so I could get some work done on the engine.
