Question about upgrading rearend???
Just replaced my stock rearend (2:56 ratio) with a (3:55 ratio) now when driving on highway my upshaft light comes on it never did that before, do I need to worry about it. I'm thinking I might need to change the stock chip in my computer. What do you guys think?? Thanks for any help..

I'd just pull the bulb out of the dash. I don't need no steenkin' light!

What year is your car? On the later models, you can reprogram the computer for rear gear changes. On the earlier (93 and older, I believe) you can put a different speedo sender gear in the trans (if you haven't already done this).
