Default question

Everyone, I have a question on my modified vette. I'm seriously considering selling it because I just picked up a C5 and I'm enjoying it more than the C4.
I spent about 2 years modified the motor and drive train. It currently is a 383 stroker, with all the top dollar racing parts. I initially built it for a potential road-racing scenario. I sport a cola crank, lunatti pro mods, srp flat top pistons, com cams camshaft, cnc ported intake, 58mm throttle body, custom open air box w/KN, MSD 6AL ignition, MSD Wires, Dana timing set, Richmond 3:73 diff, FLP modified transmission, BM 2700stall, crane gold race 1.6 roller rockers, comp springs, titanium retain, seats, ferria valves, Hooker shorties, flowmaster cat-back, Doug Rippie Chassis tuned, etc etc.. I think you get the idea, I've spent tons of money on it and I know I'm not going to get it back and that's not what I'm looking for, but I'm wondering on what would be a good sale price for it? The chassis dyno showed 390 at the wheels, more would be available obviously if I lower the compression to street level, but I initially had road racing in mind during the process. I've been heavily involved, and am very knowledgeable in the LT1. As spring was coming around I had changed gears and was debating on changing it to a more High horsepower street setup, so I purchased a TPIS zz-x camshaft and I about purchased a set of AFR 190LT4 heads to make the conversion to more of a street car but ended up purchasing a C5, and now naturally I'm liking the C5 over the C4. So I'm deciding to put it up for sale as is. I'm the title holder so I'd prefer the cash over the car so I can modify my C5 and pay down my mortgage and take a vacation. So I guess what I'm asking is what would be a good selling price and also is anybody out there interested? It is a polished bright red exterior and red interior, the motor compartment is very attractive with Polished valve covers, intake manifold was powder coated bright red, and the headers were ceramic coated silver then polished, AC lines are polished, all the black has a deep black look, all the wiring harness are clean and deep black. I have a lot of man-hours into the car, so it's hard to get rid of it, but it's time to move onto the C5 mod's. Please let me know what you think. Thanks

Naturally??

About as natural as marrying your sister.

Okay, traitor, I'll give you $5000 for it. Delivered. (that might make a good motor for my truck....)

I guess this is the wrong forum for saying you prefer the stock C5 over a 383 C4 that you have such sweat, $$ and tears into.

Personally, I wouldn't trade my C4 straight across for a C5 (unless it was really a new model) simply because of that "sweat, $$ and tears" stuff.

FWIW,

You may wnat to consider pulling the motor and putting a crate/replacement motor in there. Then sell the motor and the car separately. Since GMPP sells an carb intake w/ dist for the LT1 you can always sell it to a larger audience than the FI crowd.
