Knock counts gone wild.
Hooked up Autotap on my LT4. My knock counts at idle was 600. When I rev the engine the counts go up to 1100 no matter how high I rev the engine and stays there,1100, till the engine returns to idle. I did a search and didn't find anything on this. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the info. This is my first week with the AutoTap or any scan tool for that matter. I'm not a newbie to auto mechanics but I am to this new tool. Any tips or what I should be looking for would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Tony,
No problem we all have learning curves on everything
I usually look at the O2's, the MAF, spark knock counts, spark knock in degrees, mph,rpms. injector pulse width, they give quite good indications if you make a good hard pass of what the car is doing...
I use autotap alot it has ben great setting up the supercharger...
