""Steering wheel hub""
I'm thinking of getting a different steering wheel, I never changed out a wheel before, but does the 85 vette have the standard 6 bolt pattern? thanks

Re: ""Steering wheel hub"" (chillcat)
I am looking for a wheel for my 88. APS make some nice looking wheels, but can't seem to find the adapter (hub) for the telescoping column...
If you find one, let me know...

I have one by MOMO. I don't know what all years they fit. You can get good prices on MOMO steering wheels on Ebay. Easier for you since you don't have airbag.

NO, it's a spline connection (like every other GM product), not a "standard 6 bolt pattern" - whatever That is! You need an adapter hub to put most aftermarket wheels on it. Most eliminate the telescope feature of the column - shop around.

MOMO does have an adapter that keeps the tele feature. If you want to go that way, I can give you the part number for that adapter.

The MOMO Hub is number MM2702. This keeps your tilt/tele and is also easier to connect the horn button.
