Who has changed side glass?
I bought both sides from glasman66(look him up if you need some glass)...now I am ready to change them....I kinda know how to do it..but has anyone changed them before on a later(88 and up) C4? Any tips?

On an '88 you need to remove the door panel and lower Al panel.
Then remove the bolts that hold the regulator arms to the window bottom frame. And remove the upper glass guide pads or at least slide them back a little.
Remove the lower frame from the window and lift the window out of the door. It may be necessary to remove the weather strip, or maybe not. If you can get the lower frame off the glass, the glass should just lift out.

I've done a '96. One caveat: scribe a mark around ALL fasteners to get you a starting point for adjustment after you've installed the new glass. It's a real pain to have to make all those adjustments without a "factory" starting point. Good luck.

Just changed the driver's side...it was not near as bad as I thought it would be. The only problem I had was that the bumper/stop would not come off until I was able to free it. Other than that...piece of cake.
