Default vortech install tip

Just a tip for those of you who are installing the Vortech kit on your LT1 automatic. I noticed, after dropping my new motor in last night (blower and bracket already installed), that my belt was against one of the trans cooler lines that goes to the radiator. I just bent it out of the way, and it seems fine. If I hadn't looked, that could have been disaster for the belt and/or the line (or even the trans, after the fluid leaked out of the line). You guys might want to take a peek at your's.

I added some length and rerouted mine...

Looking to change them out to SS lines...

About this same line, did it get in the way of installing the intake tube from the air filter to the blower? Mine seems to cross right in the center below the blower inlet. Should I bend it out of the way, or cut it and add hose to it?

yes they both got in the way, I actually put in a i think it was a 60,000 GVW haydentrans cooler and capped the tran line inputs to the radiator. Now even on very hot days running 70-80 the trans rarely gets over 200 degrees.

This resolved the line interference issues I used the heavy duty trans hose to reroute everything.

As I mentioned in terms of asthetics I'm probably going to go with the teflon stainless steel braided hoses ...
