How much power from an 'X' Pipe?
Guys how much of a power difference is there from switching from the single resonator or muffler that both exhaust pipes go into and out of, to a good 'X' pipe?
And can you actually feel the difference?

I am going to guess on this one and say 7-10hp. Change the rear mufflers to a straight through design like a magna flow and yes you will feel it. It will rev a little quicker and sound so much better.

An X pipe uses the exhaust pulses from one side to help scavenge the exhaust from the other alternately, making the flow more efficient. An H pipe does the same thing though arguably not quite as well. A resonator is designed to just tone down the exhaust note although can have other benefits, depending on design.
