Engine knock
I was wondering if anyone had an idea why my engine may be knocking. My first guess is the lifters, or maybe a timing chain? anyway- when i start it up cold, the engine sounds fine and idles good. Once its warmed up it will start to knock. It doesn't always do it, but pretty often. My oil pressure seems average for an 85, my temperature is good. It was also suggested that it could be an exhaust leak. I dont experience any power loss, or any hesitation, the engine still seems strong. Somethings gotta be wrong though, or it wouldn't sound like that? Any one have any ideas? or do you need some more specifics?
