Help please = Inflation Restraint indicator light (like code 12)

Help please = Inflation Restraint indicator light (like code 12)
When the 90 is fired up the multiple indicator lights flash on and
then go off. I believe this is the normal self test sequence. However,
the red inflation restraint light flashes like a code 12 (on - pause - on on-).
The just mentioned pattern is consistant until I turn the ignition off. Under normal conditions the inflation restraint light should flash 6-9 time and
then go off.
This code never surfaced until after some mods were made that required
some welding (with the battery dis-connected).
Any ideas what might be causing this problem ? I am not a
techi and appreciate all input in advance.
