can someone help with egr problem
Is the vent tube from the passenger side VC hooked up to the TB? Is the PCV tube hooked up to the intake near injector #5? These control crankcase pressure and need to function.
ther should be no vaccumm leaks with egr disconnected..on the throttle body near the TPS..top hole is for air supply to crankcase. (rear hole on tapet cover passenger side)the hole below is a vaccum line to the emmisions tank (below the left head lite)...rember the PVC valve is still connected to valve cover (driver side to base on intake)
i total eliminated the egr ,EGR sensor, replaced air pump, removed valving, and the exhaust tube(welded them up)..i use an oil breather instead of connecting to TB ( plugged TB)and PVC in its' respective place.. the only vaccum lines left is the one that operates the brake booster and the cruise control and i think some teed in vaccum for the heat/air actuators.
