The other day I noticed a vibration that seems stronger when I'm accelerating. It only seems noticeable on the highway over 80 mph. the faster I go the stronger it gets. Didn't go over 125.
Any one have any thoughts on what this might be, or what I should check first. I thought tire balancing because I got new tires this spring but that wouldn't be less noticeable coasting and more noticeable accelerating, would it?
Thanks
I was thinking drive shaft or something on the drive line as well but wanted another oppinion.
How would suspension create this vibration?
Either way it sounds like something I should have fixed right away.
Highway vibration is a very common problem for C4's.
And 90% of the time, its either bad wheel/tire balancing or balljoints.
Terribly worn shocks tend to give a 'floating' feel that is like a vibration, bad bushings and poor alignment add to it and you can really feel it considering the ability of the frame to flex.
