transmission noise?
hey guys....i have a 95 Lt1 vert six speed...new trans has about 10,000 miles on it....i only hear this noise when i shift into 3rd gear, a very quick churp, just before it goes into 3rd (not too loud) , and it only happens once or twice a week....nothing is grinding and all the gears shift nice and smooth.....its so seldem that it's not even an issue unless it will hurt the transmission.......thanx fellas

try changing the oil. you have no clue what contaminates where in there from the rebuild.
I recommend Castrol TWS 10-60 engine oil. Available only at your friendly BMW dealer. It's about 8.00 a quart and you will need 3 quarts (the tranny needs 2.2 quarts).
