X-brace is installed.

The install was ok, just frustrating and time consuming. Where the brace mounts on the front section of the frame, there are already threaded inserts in the frame
. The rear is the Problem. I ended up, after trying other things, making some brackets out of angle iron and grade 5 bolts as studs, then bolted it to the frame that way. next, I had to pull both seats for the bolts that go through the floor pan. I managed to take it for a quick test drive last night with the roof out. The car seemed MUCH more stiff. The car shook a lot less going over RR tracks and the like. It felt really nice.

SWEET!!!!! This car feels incredibly solid now. I know it's probably not, but it feels almost like a C5, as far as stiffness is concened. I highly recommend finding an X-brace from a 'vert, or buying the Cross-Frame from Dave Cooper!...
