92 vette need electronic brake control module
Brought the vette into a shop they told me it needs an Electronic brake control module which is running abt $1500.00 & also a power control module at $425.00... The shop said that this was parts & labor.... I called around & found the Electronic Brake control module for $350.00, when I asked abt the power control module they didn't know what it is..... Does anyone know what this part is?

Maybe they mean ECM. (Engine Control Module). It's mounted above the battery. In the latter model C4's GM calls it the PCM (Power Train Control Module).
Autozone sells the ECM for $158 exchange. You can also purchase rebuilt ones from GM.
Before you start throwing money at the problem, are you getting any error codes?
Sounds like this shop is taking you to the cleaners.

Which shop? Take it to DeFelice Chevy in Point Pleasant, tell them you only want Tommy to look at it.
