Brake/caliper noise
For sometime now if I drive with my windows down I can here a lot of noise from the front when I hit a bump. It almost sounds like something is about to fall off. Well, I finally checked it out yesterday and found that the calipers on each side are loose....I can jiggle them with my hands.
I didn't have time to take the wheel off and inspect them to fid them problem...is this normal or is something messed up?

i would suspect that the spring clips on the bottom of the caliper are bad. there are two per caliper attached to the brake pads themselves.
this is a common problem.
if this is indeed the problem, buy new clips, or if you must you can stretch the clips back out to retain the proper spring force when installed.
