Rebuilding AC Compressor

Has anyone ever rebuilt their AC Compressor? How hard is it? Would I be better off replacing it with a rebuilt one or used one? It's off my 93 and it's locked up completely.

Any input is appreciated!

Trade it in on a new compressor with a warranty.

I'm pulling my entire A/C (works perfect btw) off my '92 by the weekend, and will be selling it all in the next week or so if you can wait that long.

I pulled my old coil out and put the enw one in, lots of special tools you need to rent, and you can buy one for just a little bit more than the total parts cost. I will never do this again
