good luck,

using stock LT1 head flow the numbers are :

408hp@5000 and 462@3500-4000

Ok, let's get serious here for a bit, ok? Look at the figures above. With the specs I gave I shouldbe getting423 ponies at the crank.

With STOCK heads and my mods, you say I should be getting 408 ponies at the crank.

What I AM getting is only 370 ponies at the crank. I'm already better than 30 ponies in the frigging hole WITH the headwork and mods I've had done.

What gives here anyway?

The key to making power with the LT1 is all in the heads getting them to flow and then having a cam to match those flow numbers. Without that all the other mods are useless.

Good luck.

I would think your heads should be able to flow pretty good based on what you've said. You need to see what kind of tuning was done. Do you have a laptop? You could get a cable and TTS Datamaster and run a few logs to see what kind of timing is being run through that engine.

a 96 lt1 should have around 260 rwhp. right? and you did all those mods and 0nly picked up 60 rwhp. you should be seeing at least 360 rwhp with that setup...

Nathan,

I fired an email off to them along with the specs and mods I've already done. Am still awaiting a reply.
