Default 88 with trouble code 36 please help

hi guys! I am hoping someone out there knows what code 36 is for an 88 coupe. the car runs and idles normal but it seems that when I start it up and the outside air temp is over 90 degrees I get the service engine light but the car drives as normal. If I don't do anything but wait until the next morning when it's cooler outside I get no service engine light. this code is not listed in my haynes manual, please help.

Code36 = Mass Air Flow Burn Off Circuit (Check connections at MAF, MAF relay & MAF Burn Off Relay; check coil resistance of MAF relay & MAF burn off relay with DOM, replace if less the 18 ohms, and Possible ECM failure.
Both MAF relays are located on the firewall behind the battery, just get 2 new ones and replace (about $10 each @ autozone), clean connections and go... Hope this helps

Also: invest in a Helms manual... can't go wrong..
