Default Outside Air temp sensor location?

I have the electronic climate system so I have an outside air temp disply.
Every once in a while it seems to be stuck first thing in the morning.
Drive around a while and bang, it starts reading correctly again.

Where is the sensor that measures the temp?
Does it sound like it might be going south on me?

If you look under your front bumber and into the ac condensor area you will see it. It is a smaller piece of plastic with 2 wires attatched. It has a mesh opening in the front of it.

Don't replace any parts just yet....In the Helm's Service manual for my 1996, it states that the outside temp. may not "adjust" until a certain distance has been traveled in the morning; regardless of temperature.

I believe your system is working properly.

Do you have the Helm's Service manual for your model?
If not, it will answer most questions that anyone willl ever have.

Just my $0.02....

Yes I have the manual just to lazy to open it
Besides as you can see others have benifited from the same info.

Maybe I will have to look it up now but it sounds like there is no issue really. It is just a first thing in the morning issue and goes away so it all seems to fit.

Thanks guys !
