Default AC problems...please help?

last week....give it gas and the AC normally blowing into your face starts blowing out of the defrost/floor vents. Let off the gas and back to normal.

Today....no front vents at all...just defrost/floor. What are my first steps?

Yup!! Bet'cha the cruise control is get'n touchy too! Check the plastic "F" vaccum connection under the passenger side fuel rail cover. It's a quick, cheap and easy fix.

Bingo....F shapped one way valve on passengers side of manifold was broken. Took cover off and could hear the hiss. $6.19 later (for a part I know costs 20 cents to make) I'm back in business with A/C in the face. thanks folks.
