LT4 hotcam installation?

what parts do i need to install the hotcam or is everything included in the kit? How difficult is the install? For a 1st timer can it be done in a weekend? Would i have to have the ecm reprogramed right away or can it be done later? thanks for any info..

(this is on a completely stock 95 A4 cpe w/ 75,000 miles)

The kit has all the hard parts except for the timing set, I believe. I would upgrade it or at least replace it. Possible but doubtful that a first-timer could pull it off in a weekend. This is a more difficult cam swap than most. And yes, reprogramming will be necessary to get the most out of it but it should run pretty well until you do. Get a manual and search the archives. Also search for threads re/ bearing failure after cam swaps, it is a preventable problem.
