How does one go about getting the composit springs to stop squeeking over every bump? I've tried spraying with food grade silicone which works but for only a short while.
Most clunking noises in the front end can be attributed to worn sway bar bushings. When they wear out, they go metal to metal, and can squeak or grind when you go over a bump.
I replaced them 2 years ago. I tried Energy Suspension bushing from Mid America but they were too small and the bar clunked so I replaced those with new OEM.
This is the spring that's making the noise/squeek. Not a clunk or clank or thud but a creak-creak, creak-creak, creak-creak when going over speed bumps, fast dips, road kill, in-laws, etc.
