Just had my ZF rebuilt by a very good local transmission shop. I talked around, and went to see them. They said the ZF was pricey but they do rebuild them. The syncro and bearing kit was $1,950.00. They surfaced the flywheel and put new clutch and pressure plate in. Total price was $3,300.00. They were not the cheapest I found, but highly recommended.
I would have used ZF Doc, however, I gave up laying on my back to do heavy work a long time ago. I did not want to pull the tranny. I talked to them, and they are the way to go if you want to pull and ship the tranny your self.

Hearing that makes me think I should have bought one of those $2K crate ZFs floating around a couple months ago...
