power mirrors
i have a 86 vette. both of my mirrors turn in and out but they won't go up or down. is there something wrong with the switch or is there something wrong inside the mirrors?

Since the problem is common to both mirrors I suspect it is an issue with one of the switches.
Remove the console lid and jumper power to the line that is not providing power to test the switches.
