Default Trans cooler lines

I'm installing a trans cooler and the instructions say to connect to the return line to the trans. On a 94, is the return line the top one at the radiator or the bottom one? Thanks, Craig

My 90 comes in at the top and back to the transmission at the bottom. I believe most all cars use gravity this way.

Thanks very much. It's interesting that the return is the upper line. Craig

Well gee whiz. I ran both my lines into containers and ran the engine to see which one pumped out fluid to the radiator. Bottom line. Just got my 90 factory service manual and on page68-4 it says bottom line. So fluid goes in on top and out on the bottom.
