Roll Bar questions??
I just bought an 8 point cage from swracecars.com for $109 instead of $150, I called to get some questions answered and couldn't pass up the price. But anyway, my question is I plan to use the main hoop and cut it to fit in the hatch area(it is supposed to go to the floor behind the seats) and the rear support bars I will move them farther out so that the top can be put in the back. Has anyone elsa done this or anything like it?The reason I went this route was because I couldn't find anyone in town to build me a custom roll bar, I know it will not be completely safe with the bars being moved out but I want to be able to take my top out and have it with in case of rain. Have I bought an expensive paper weight or will this work????

I used the same S&W kit but chrome molly. I cut the main hoop down and mounted it on the flat spot behind the seat. I thought I had pictures before I put the carpets back in but i can't find them. Here are 3 showing the point for a general idea.
