Default Hesitation Question?

My '86 just started hesitating on acceleration. Any ideas where I should start looking?

Check base timing, TPS setting at base idle (450rpm) and clean the TB.

Yeah,

Check what 65Z01 says. But for me with a 52mm T/B and cam, 450rpm is almost impossible. If you set the TPS at the factory recommend setting of .54V, it will still be within specs but a little high if you keep your RPM at a more normal 650 or so. Which actually makes it run a little better.

FWIW,
BIG JIM
